On Saturday 15 October we celebrate the 6th International Repair Day, a day to promote and celebrate the value of fixing. The theme for this year’s edition is Repair Everywhere.
There’ll be ways for everyone to get involved, from novices to experts. However people choose to join in, we’ll ask everyone to share what they’re doing, so that social media feeds are flooded with images and stories of repair. By talking about repair more, we can encourage people to think differently next time something breaks.

How can you get involved?
We want everyone to be part of Repair Day, online as well as offline. Here are some ideas to get involved on the day:
- Attend a community repair event
- Support a local repair business
- Fix something yourself, or share your skills with others
- Share a picture of your repair (successful or not!) or of a memorable repair
- Join our mailing list for updates
Promotional materials and visual resources
In collaboration with Repair & Share, we have some new resources to share to announce Repair Day and celebrate it on the day. You can use them online and offline to endorse, promote and celebrate Repair Day.

You can access multiple versions of the logo in colour and b&w.
Social media pack
We’ve put together a social pack to help you advertise events and promote Repair Day. It includes: information on our key asks; social media assets; social media copy and hashtags; posters for event promotion; a template press release; a template email.
